Yoga Pant Uniform

Happy Almost Friday!!

If any of you are like me, you love to live in really nice yoga pants. Quality yoga pants that will withstand the daily wear and tear and still maintain their shape and color. These Zella leggings are my all time favorite, they last for years, their thick material has kept its shape and the black color is not at all faded! Trust me, they are worth every penny and they are truly affordable.

With that being said, I love trying all new types of leggings/ yoga pants. If you have any brands you swear by, leave the name in the comments below!

Leggings: Zella; Top: Express (on sale now!)

Little Adventures - GIVEAWAY

Soooo, if your little ones are anything like mine they have the most active imagination known to man. One day Peyton wakes up and is the lost princess that needs to find her way back to her castle and the next day she is a magical mermaid walking on land for the first time.

I love to encourage her imagination and the best way I found to indulge this kind of creativity is to give her things to dress up in! These outfits from Little Adventure Dress Ups completely fit the bill! The best thing about their outfits is that every one can be just thrown in the wash just as any other clothing item! No hand washing or delicate handling, these outfits are durable and ready to play in :)

In this post I am so grateful to have partnered up with Little Adventure Dress Ups to giveaway an outfit to one of my lucky followers! Homemade Snowballs

Hello Friends!!

My daughter is a GIGANTIC fan of all things Disney. We frequently have movie nights that typically are a Disney movie and one we've probably seen a MILLION times.. SO in order to keep things interesting, I like to try and spice up a repeat movie with a new treat to keep things lively!

Today is a particularly rainy day in the Bay Area (shocker, I know) and Peyton has requested (for the 1 millionth time) Frozen. Since I know every single line/ song in that movie I decided to mix it up with a fun sweet treat!

These "Snowballs" are basically rice krispie treats but instead of the cereal I used popcorn because it's what I had readily available at home, throw some blue sprinkles in there are VOILA a snowball even Elsa wouldn't get sick of.

Below is the super simple directions to replicate these little delectables that your little one will absolutely love!

 You will need the following:
1 pack of mini marshmallows
2 tbsp butter
1 package microwave popcorn or a bag of pre-popped popcorn
Blue or White sprinkles (I used both)

To Make:
Pop the popcorn according to directions. Pour popcorn into a large mixing bowl.

On your stovetop melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add about 3/4 bag of marshmallows (save some mallows for later) Stir until everything is perfectly smooth and melty.

Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and stir until the mix seems evenly distributed.
BE CAREFUL THE MARSHMALLOW MIX IS THE EQUIVALENT
 TO HOT LAVA!!

Once the popcorn marshmallow mixture is semi cool mix in the remaining mini marshmallows and sprinkles.

Once everything is fully cooled, take a handful and form it into a snowball! You can add more sprinkles if you see fit.

Place those bad boys onto some parchment paper so they don't stick and enjoy when ready!

Valentine's Date Night

It's almost Valentine's Day!!

I love getting festive for Valentine's and getting dressed up in a little pink or red and going out with the hubs for a yummy dinner. It's hard as parents to a toddler to get alone time or date nights but we always make plans for Valentine's Day and try to make it a little something special.

Here are a few of the things I am eyeing for Valentines Day and date night!

2. Flared Denim (always so flattering)

Rainy Day Blues

Hello Friends! Happy Friday!

Today is a special day because it's my baby girl's 3rd birthday! I'm sure my Instagram and Instastories will be flooded with photos and videos of our day long celebration of being 3, so be sure to tune in to the cuteness :)

This shoot was completely impulsive because I loved my outfit! HA! The weather was a torrential down pour but when I'm inspired, I forge on and allow no obstacle to get in my way... however, I should have heeded the weather because OMG was it miserable to take photos in! Soooo if you're noticing any blurry spots in the photos, those are fun little rain drops that just wanted to make it into the shoot. With all that being said.... HOW CUTE IS MY TOP?! I just fell in love with this lantern sleeve top and its pleated detail in the front and paired with a flared leg denim I felt like the coolest, so I had to share with you all :)

Top: Shein; Jeans: Express; Beanie: Target: (Only $12 and SO SOFT);
Platforms: Steve Madden (Perfect for Spring and only $100)

Lovely Little Details

Happy Hump day, Friends!

Do you ever have the moments when you just don't want to be a full adult and wear jeans? Well, I for sure feel that way a few times a week. When those moments strike, I tend to gravitate to a go to pair of yoga pants and a cute tee shirt or sweatshirt. However, that can get a little repetitive so I like to give myself options. So when this cute little cropped sweatshirt from Shein showed up at my door I was thrilled to add it into my lazy day rotation!

This light little pink sweatshirt is perfect for a day of running errands. It's not too heavy but just enough to keep you warm. Plus my favorite part of it is the adorable embroidered bunny in the pocket on the chest and on the sleeve. I love unexpected little details like that!

Sweatshirt: Shein; Camisole: Halogen; Pants: Zella; Shoes: Nike
