I'm so excited to share this look!

 I love this top, the lace up detail is so much fun. It was perfect touch for a date night out with the hubs. It felt like such an easy, cool outfit for a night out. 

My recipe for the perfect date night look is simple; a fun top to add a little spice, a comfy pair of jeans, a fabulous pair of shoes and whenever necessary throw on a leather jacket! I definitely nailed it with this ensemble.

Fine Wine

It finally feels like fall!! I could not be more thrilled. Fall is my absolute favor time of year, I love sweaters, boots, pumpkin spice lattes, just everything!

This post is definitely dedicated to my ideal fall uniform. A cozy sweater, a nice pair of jeans and a fabulous pair of boots. I love this sweater because it is so roomy and comfortable but more than that, this color is amazing! It's like a deep wine purple, which I have a feeling is going to be the color of the season. 

These jeans, I cannot get enough of these jeans! Express has really gotten the ladies jeans down. These are the mid rise legging and I truly feel like I could wear these all day and night. I hands down would recommend these to any woman who is interested in a comfortable skinny jean.

Harper Girl

Fall is in the air and I could not be more excited! 

While the change from Summer to Fall is a slow one here in Southern California, it gives me the opportunity to wear fantastic transitional pieces, like the one I am wearing here with this lovely dress from Harper Trends. This flowy floral number is right on point with it's color palette to fit into the Fall season while still being light and breezy enough to wear on those days when the temperature unexpectedly spikes.

My New Favorite Tee

I am LOVING my newest top from Mindy Mae's Market! My favorite thing part about this top is the detail on the sleeve. The stripes make this regular, everyday T shirt interesting and not seem so simple. I totally feel like I can wear this tee with a black pencil skirt and a statement necklace and it's office ready or as I am wearing here, with a cute pair of jeans and it's ready for weekend fun!

It Girl

Clearly, I am having a love affair with this army green color. I truly have this color in so many different articles of clothing. I feel like it is such a versatile and interesting shade of green. 

This look is entirely from the Nordstrom Sale and I cannot tell you how amazing this sale was this year! I purchased so many things for myself and my little girl, my husband may kill me :) 

On to what I am wearing. I want to start with this vegan leather jacket. If you don't have a nice, faux leather moto jacket this one NEEDS to be in your closet! It has a great fit and the leather is so soft you may think it is real leather. Also, the hardware on the jacket is over-sized and heavy which I love and did I mention that it is under $100! With the Nordstrom Sale it actually comes to $63 which basically feels like stealing. I know I already spoke on the color of my lovely dress but I have yet to discuss how incredibly comfy and flattering it is. If you follow me religiously (and you should :)) you know I am all about the function of clothing. I love looking great while being comfortable in what I am wearing and in this dress I am accomplishing just that. The flowiness (is that a word?) creates an easy breezy feel which makes it wearable in just about any scenario. 

Once I put this whole look together I felt very "it girl", like a successful girl on the go that's super stylish and has no time for nonsense. Get this look and trust me, you'll feel the exact same way. #girlboss

Rad in Plaid

There is nothing I love better than a comfy outfit. Something easy to throw on while still looking put together and not like a slob :)

 That is something I feel like I have achieved in this post. These high waisted flared jeans fit like a glove but are also extremely comfortable. They have the right amount of stretch to give when you're moving around and on the go but they will not get that stretched out baggy look by the end of the day. I also love how the exaggerated flare gives the illusion of long legs! Being a short girl, this is something that I LOVE!! I throw on a pair of platforms and BOOM, long legs. This plaid top is giving some 90's vibes, which I like, plus it's definitely a bonus that it's extremely light so I can wear it on hot summer days.
